Peanut & Bumble is a sustainable-sourced Canadian clothing company that hires home-based sewists who are paid fairly and love what they do. They design playful, personality-packed pieces that little ones actually want to wear—again and again.
A Fresh New Focus
We completely updated Peanut & Bumble’s previous Shopify site with a fresh and fun new colour palette and premium theme with custom CSS updates. The theme was then further customized to allow for more functionality and advanced filtering options.
The home page showcases their seasonal collections, bestsellers and tells the Peanut & Bumble story. We included sections with links to their About and Sustainable Style pages. Product collections were showcased so customers have multiple ways to shop new and favourite styles.
Custom Product Pages
Enriched product information
Custom product pages are enriched with metafields to show off key information for customers.
With a wide range of product types and materials, these customizations are vital to display more than a plain product description. Additional information like materials and care instructions are displayed based on individual product data. Complimentary items were added to make shopping a breeze!
Easy Filtering & Sorting
Product metafields were created for extra functionality and ease of use for anyone browsing the site. Customers can now filter by colour, size or collection, making the shopping experience even better.
Smart Collections were also created so customers can quickly shop by theme or season. Complimentary items were also set so customers can easily add matching items to their cart.

The existing product descriptions were streamlined to enhance SEO. To optimize the UX design of product pages, any additional product information was migrated into metafields to make the shopping experience more enjoyable.
